The trays also focus on problem solving as well as on basic skills. Like the color sorting activity will help her recognize the different colors and help put the right name to them. She knows lots of color names, but doesn't consistently identify them correctly (a lot of things are pink and yellow). Another thing it does is occupy her and wear her out, so she's both more manageable in the morning and ready for a nap in the afternoon! Hehehehehe...The Baileyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03393817290229014679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9029713021171434564.post-87721439443540290472011-02-07T10:31:08.104-08:002011-02-07T10:31:08.104-08:00Thanks for the tip, Emily! And I guess to help her build her ability to focus/concentrate? Regardless it looks like fun. :)Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13982121177952752019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9029713021171434564.post-80014988218493663542011-02-07T07:44:54.642-08:002011-02-07T07:44:54.642-08:00Yay!! Hannah goes to a Montessori preschool and your trays are very much like the different "works" she does at school, but I never thought to make my own for Claire at home - great idea!
We have the same easel (love ikea!) and I was going to share that washable markers work just as well on the dry erase board but don't stain everything the way the dry erase markers do!
Also, your kids are adorable!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16694215345384736145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9029713021171434564.post-15050507132295022222011-02-06T18:55:02.029-08:002011-02-06T18:55:02.029-08:00Again ridiculously jealous of you.Again ridiculously jealous of you.Kristinnoreply@blogger.com
